SUPERNOVA: GALACTIC WARS TUTORIAL
The Battlefield Movement

Move the mouse on the map to see quick help/info on the bottom part of the screen. To move a ship, first click on it, and a movement radius will appear showing all possible destinations for that ship. Click again on the map to move the ship. If you change your mind and want to move another ship, just click over the other ship; since no allied ship can occupy the same place, your previously selected ship won't move.

Planets and credits

The planets on the battlefield are very important. If you position one of your ship over them, at the end of the turn you'll receive credits based on how many planets you have under your control. To keep control of a planet, your ship must remain over it and not move elsewhere.

Another way to earn credits, beside capturing planets, is by collecting "minerals" on the arcade fight: you'll see floating minerals of various colours, if you move your ship over them you'll get credits based on their value (varies from 1 to 3 credits maximum).

The Fight

To control your ship: you can use the left/right arrow keys to turn the ship. The up key accelerates, while the down key decelerates. Use either the 1,2,3 or Z,X,C keys to shoot with the selected ship's weapons.
Every ship has from 1 to 3 maximum different weapons. If you prefer, you can also use the left control key to fire all ready weapons, but remember that in certain cases you might want to select which weapon to fire o device to activate (for example some ships have shield and you might want to activate it only when enemy shoots at you).
On the right part of the fight screen you'll find stats about you and the enemy, and also an x-scanner, where you can see the position of your ship, the enemy one, the asteroids and the minerals.
Avoid collisions with the asteroids because you'll get damaged, and try to shoot them because often once destroyed they reveal interesting bonuses. Three different type of bonuses are availeble: power (increase weapons damage), speed (increase ship speed) and defence (reduce damage taken).

Using the Phantom Shield

The ships equipped with it (Blue Wasp and Red Panthera) can activate it like firing a normal weapon: you'll see your ship starting to glow temporarily for a short time. During that time your ship is immune to beam weapons (like lasers) but not to damage from missiles or crashing into other ships or asteroids.
